Somebody on here comment:

This morning when surfing news channels I caught a discussion(sorry, forgot which channel) with a well known college professor commenting about the Ukraine mess. He said that in 2010 Ukraine had a monitored(by the US and many other western countries)national election that elected their president as well as the legislature. The elections were declared fair and legal. Now comes 2014 and the riots start, resulting in the overthrow of the president and their 1300 legislators are thrown out of office.

A council then appointed a new president as well as new legislators. Not elected, but appointed. Now comes Putin in the Crimea and so far only the Crimea protecting their interests in the naval and other military facilities in there.

So who supports the legal and proper government of Ukraine? Putin or Obammy? Obammy seems to me to support the illegal self appointed government! Rebels, revolutionists.

Is Obammy, OKerry, the MSM and all the rest of the world on the wrong side?

If this crew picks a direction, it’s always good to take the opposite one. Thus far every direction they have gone is either illegal or wrong.

This is no different. Some freepers don’t agree but oh well. Facts are what they are.

That in not accurate. While Yanukovich was elected rather fairly he was elected into a different position as by 2004 constitutional President did not have much power. The amendment was passed after the Orange revolution and 90% of the legislators voted for it. He managed to use his limited power together with corrupt judges to overturn the constitution claiming there had been procedural errors 6 years ago and started to use by old 1996 constitution, that gave him very large powers.

It began to became clear that he is consolidating his power and there might be no more fair elections ever.

He was also impeached by legal parliament, who had given up on him. Also the 2004 constitution was restored. And new elections were scheduled.

You are correct. The Ukrainian President and legislature was duly elected. The media isn’t exactly pointing that out, are they?

What makes you think Obama and Putin are on opposite sides?
