The politicians depend on the ignorance of the voters so they can manipulate and deceive them. By and large, it works.

Actually, Van Hollen was virtually shut down by a combination of Portman and Wallace. Van Hollen lost his chances of continuous filibustering by Wallace, and Portman shut off all of his blathering with effective facts.
Wallace said that “Kerry declined to appear on Fox”. He should have said “Kerry was AFRAID to appear on Fox”. It’s time to make the administration pay a little for its actions.
Than its even worse. She must be running for something else. Any Senate seats coming up?

PLEASE - the U.S. Military is A “WORKS” Program. We have too many National Guard posts as well as too many other military bases. Back in the 1980/90s there was a commission set up to close extra bases because our fearless leaders in the House and Senate would not do their Constitutionally defined jobs.
It is no different today
The U.S. Military has been stationed all over the world since W.W.II. Just like the Romans and their time in History, The U.S. (and the World) may very well be in decline. Just like the Romans, we now have other more important spectacles to watch and entertain us. (LGBT, Gays, etc.)
