There is a coverage under Obamacare which covers things, if you lose a job, and won’t be covered for things related to what you had worked on before you lost your job.

That applies to me.

Prior to Obamacare, if I lost my job, I would lose coverage for things related to what I had done.

I may lose my job at some point, and do not want to lose coverage for things related, to that.

Obamacare covered that.

I am no longer in danger of losing that coverage, if I lose my job.

My employer has been laying off people for 10 years. Eventually I will lose my job.

Cruz wants our insurance coverage to go back to what it was. That is a HUGE mistake.

I am positive, I am not the only person in this situation. If you are not covered by the government and lose your job, if you’ve had work done, you need to think about this.

Just saying.

I am not arguing against Ted Cruz, in fact I find him absolutely thrilling.

But he’s making a (big) mistake in my mind, on healthcare, supporting a complete repeal.

I know this opinion is in a (huge) minority view on this website. In fact I won’t continue to discuss this, because of this.

Just saying. Cruz I do not support you on this (one) single matter.

Just this one matter.

The fundamental problem with health insurance is that people don’t own their own insurance. Obamacare doesn’t fix that...it only changes the third party. Obamacare may continue to cover your issue if you become unemployed and have to change plans, but for many people it does not cover what they need. The repeal is a start...but you’re right in that it can’t be the end. There need to be rules regarding definitions of coverage, and transitions of coverage...but these are more “weights and measures” type of stuff.

“Before”: If you lost your job you can (if you so choose) go on your State’s Medicaid and that covers most everything, in any States I know of.

Today: Is your self interest greater than your interest in the good of the country? Does it matter to you that once in the new system, the FEDERAL gov’t totally has you by the b-—s?

I do not ask this lightly: I presently have to decide whether to get insurance with the subsidy for my family, or go without, as it is impossible for us to afford the new premiums without the subsidy. If it was just me, I might take my chances, but with a daughter with some continuing problems - agghh. The choice is tearing me apart. Of course it doesn’t help that if you get the subsidy, the odds of identity and other theft are, IMO, almost certain, at some point.

The fact that a middle income family like mine has no choice (if they want health insurance) but to be dependent on the gov’t (subsidy) shows how evil Obamacare is.
