...he cudda became a contender...*tsk tsk*
Harkin’s last term, thank God.
And so we should just erase our borders and give our amigos free reign. And free education. And free or low cost housing. And free ObamaFoodStamps that can be redeemed for booze and crack. And free ObamaPhones. And free ObamaCare. Ain’t freedom grand. Especially when other people pay for it.

I watched his speech, and I loved it. I will never understand why so many U.S. politicians and celebrities praise Cuba.
He has renounced his original support for comprehensive immigration reform. Show me a pol who is or was perfect.
Marco Rubio takes the (political) 5th on whether he toked up
But they might reject you because your latest position on immigration is different from your first position on immigration, and both are probably different than your next position on immigration.
Well, the Cubanos living in the States never will; they know the truth about Fidelismo that the armchair Marxists like to blink.
I don't believe so, not now. Check comment# 11.
My view, precisely.
There is just no (as in no possible way of ever) getting past Rubio's support for amnesty for illegal aliens; and, the further insult is that he claims that it not amnesty.
.
You know this had to have left a mark. I did a Google search on “Tom Harkin” + “Cuba”, and found very few liberal media accounts of his speech. Most of the results were for conservative blogs on Rubio’s takedown of Harkin, and I didn’t even put his name in the search. Evidently, the libs haven’t mounted much a defense for their esteemed Senator.
Very true. It won't convince me to vote for him for president, nonetheless, I give him credit for continuing to highlight this issue. Someone must.
You can trust Rubio, but I won’t. Its not just like he had his arm twisted and reluctantly voted for Amnesty.
Rubio pushed it, twisted other people’s arms, and said the GOP had to do it. All BS. Rush said he can’t understand why the GOP wants to hasten their demise by voting for Amnesty.
Rubio has the answer. See he was backed by the Tea Party and they worked tirelessly for him, but the Tea Party isn’t as rich as the Chamber of Whores and Karl Rove’s Pac.
These guys want a job when their days in DC are over and they will sell out the Tea Party and conservative like us
for campaign cash and a post politics cushy job.
Once a man stabs the Tea Party and conservative in the back on such a core belief and makes a 180 degree change, is he any better than John Kerry?
As long as he doesn't make more serious mistakes, I could consider him again after the 2016 election. I think everbody deserves at least one break to redeem themselves for a prior error, but not ad infinitum. Maybe Rubio's primary consideration was Romney's disastrous share of the vote from Latinos in 2012, but I don't know that's true or not.
Cruz and Rubio are the only contenders that truly understand the tyranny of the fascists and leftists.
I’m sure that their fathers escaping these hell holes have nothing to do with their passionate condemnation of communism.
