I have a feeling Jan Brewer is going to cave. No one is explaining what this law is about. It protects businesses from being sued like the Christian bakery who had to close their business. I’m pretty sure the majority of the people were against that.
This is what liberals always forget. The benefit of a free market economy is that no such laws are necessary. If I am free to discrimate in how I spend my talent, labor and time, then I am free to accept that others can do the same. If I were homosexual and could not find a baker to make a wedding cake for me, then as a capitalist I would recognize that a market needs to be serviced. I might even risk some of my time and capital to start such a bakery! If there is such a market need, then I will get rich!
Without the freedom of everyone to be discriminatory, then that opportunity would not exist that would eventually allow for a supporter of the gays to make a mint.....
