When I was around 5 years old I was riding my trike around the block we lived on in Panama City, FL. There was a girl walking the same direction as I was going.
A model T Ford came around the corner literally sliding. The driver leaned out the window and yelled “Hey Good Looking, What You Got Cooking”. I guess he didn’t get an answer as he was going pretty fast.
Hard to believe parents just let their kids go around on their own but it was the normal thing back then.

Ha...you don’t want to go back that far....I used to go to the store and buy my parents cigarettes...at about age 7
Course then, what the men in the town would have done to any child molester would not have been pretty.
The Sheriff and Police would have said they couldn’t figure out who did those things to the child molester.
