I could imagine how foolish the klan and others of their ilk sounded when they demanded "outsiders" to stop meddling in Alabama's affairs during the days of the Jim Crow laws.

"Do they want us meddling in their gun laws?"
You do that every time you support stricter gun control laws at the federal level.

Turnabout is fair play, New Jersey.

“don’t want to worry that “the guy theyre fighting with over a parking spot might be packing heat.””
Perhaps they should survey that couple that was car jacked at some mall there before Christmas.

Mark Kelly does that every time he comes to MY STATE and says that I can’t have the same rights he has and USES back in Arizona.
The Colorado state legislator is entirely run by groups from back east and New Jersey need to STFU.

This reads like satire. If it is true however, then the reply to this quote "the guy theyre fighting with over a parking spot might be packing heat" should be a resounding yes. A armed society is a polite society.

"Do they want us meddling in their gun laws?" the paper asks, noting that Wyoming's loose gun laws are a threat to New Jersey because they make it easy for criminals to bring guns east.Yeah...I'm SO sure that criminals in NJ have to go all the way to freaking WYOMING to get their hands on guns. Solid logic, that.
To: andyk
As I recall, NJ is part of Bloomberg’s anti-gun group meddling in other states gun laws. So, STFU NJ.

States "have broad powers to set gun policy, and in ours, a strong majority supports strict laws," Not according to the constitution. "...Shall not be infringed."

The Star Ledger reads like the Daily Worker,it is the Democrats paper of record, it is a FAR left libral rag that looses millions every year and has been on life support for years, the sooner it dies the better.

I lived in that state for awhile. Get this, you need a permit to purchase a pistol. The purchase has to be “approved” by the local chief of police. I wanted to buy a model 66, still have it after 40 years. Chief of some small municipality starts grilling me about why I think I need such a “powerful” gun. After a few seconds of that BS I said to him I carry a model 19 issued by the US Treasury so are you going to ask about that too? He said he would “reluctantly” grant the permit. I was so happy to leave that crap hole state.

If they get into potentially lethal fights over parking spaces, they shouldn’t even be packing a can of hairspray...

This involves an interpretation of the Second Amendment. Of course other states and individuals from those states should get involved.

I lived in that state for awhile. Get this, you need a permit to purchase a pistol Here in NJ obtaining a shotgun or hunting rifle is usually not a big problem.
A pistol for even just home use is damn near impossible.
There are more than several police chiefs who will use improbable excuses to delay or deny a permit.
Had buddy wait over eighteen months to get one. That only happened when he went over the chief's head.

If they get into potentially lethal fights over parking spaces, they shouldnt even be packing a can of hairspray... People get into lethal fights over music volume in Florida and fender benders in Houston, why should parking spaces be any different?
To: Starstruck
This involves an interpretation of the Second Amendment. Wouldn't it be a 10th Amendment matter?

Wyoming to New Jersey: keep your commie hands off our second amendment!!!
