They supported the government but demanded MORE RIGHT NOW, and they would Occupy the said property of others until they got it, free.
The Ukranian protesters are protesting the corruption of their government in economic affairs (government insiders steal from the people) and this is a legitimate grievance.
However the EU deal will not fix this problem, it will simply substitute a new set of government politicians and bureaucrats who will also steal, but their theft will be LEGAL because of the EU agreement, and there's no going back.
Both groups of protesters are protesting the theft of what they think is theirs, Occupy being wrong and Ukrainians being right, but neither understands the laws of economics.
Occupy are just thieves and looters, and the the Ukrainians are suckers trading real liberty for a politicians promise of security. Once you are a slave legally, your owner can use force to keep you that way.
