While speaking with Fox News' Neil Cavuto, Judge Andrew Napolitano said impeachment is the only way to stop President Obama from ruling by executive fiat, Newsmax reported Thursday.
"The president is doing the opposite of what he was elected to do," he said. "At some point he is totally frustrating what Congress has written."
He also told Cavuto that when Obama takes unilateral action, picking and choosing what laws -- or portions of laws -- to enforce, he is actually telling people how to avoid the law.
The president has unilaterally delayed portions of Obamacare without going through Congress, and he has taken other executive actions on issues like the minimum wage, gun control and immigration.
Although some Republicans have threatened impeachment, Napolitano said that as a whole, neither Congress nor the American people have the guts to see it through. Another problem is the current makeup of the Senate. Even if Obama were impeached by the House, a Senate controlled by Democrats would never vote to convict or remove him from office.

OK. Treason is defined in the Constitution. Only crime that is.
It has generally been interpreted as waging war on the United States or giving aid and comfort to US enemies in a declared war.
Which congressmen do you think can be convicted of such acts?
BTW, treason, aside from its definition in the Constitution, is no different from any other crime. Congressmen can be charged with any crime.

A legislator accused or or even convicted of treason would not be automatically removed from office. That would still require expulsion by his House.
Or, if he was executed, that would also remove him from office.
Can’t be done without the able assistance of a functioning free press.

Congressmen take an oath of office to protect and defend the Contitution of the United States. FACT.
In my opinion, MOST Congressmen are guilt of selling out the interest of the US in violation of their oath of office to foreign interests. Foreign financial interests.
I am convinced that is why both Republicans and Democrats find every excuse to not have their betrayal of the nation exposed for what it is.
You can play semantic games all you want, it does not change the fact that those Congressmen are Criminals and need to be removed from office and punished accordingly.
They know what they are guilty of and the gravity of the offence. Why do you think a number of them are hanging it up while they still can?
See, I believe in the Constitution. When it defines a crime, I don’t consider that a semantic game.
I don’t know whether BA was specifically charged with treason. There were plenty of purely military crimes he could have been charged with, so in a time of war it seems unlikely they would have defaulted to a non-military offense. What is for sure is that he would have been executed if captured.
If you have evidence of specific crimes committed by specific legislators, you should provide it to the appropriate authorities. Or perhaps post it online.

Funnily enough, once the ball starts rolling on the crimes perpetrated by Obama and Biden, Bohner would be very hard-pressed not to get caught up in it -- his actions show him to be at least an accessory if not a conspirator.
The state can. Call for an Article 5 convention, create an amendment for impeachment by state ratification, and DO IT.

Amazingly no one has mentioned another viable method.....we all know his BC is a fake and he apparently uses/has used multiple SS numbers. It would seem that Congress could unseal those supposed records in Hawaii...if they had the guts....somebody better grow a pair or the muzzie clown will have my America in the toilet and pulling the handle to flush it!

But those methods are generally illegal.
Let us assume that it is proven beyond any possible doubt that Obama’s BC is a fake. That does not in and of itself prove that he is not a natural born citizen and therefore ineligible for the presidency.
To take it to the next step, let’s assume incontrovertible evidence is found that he was born in Kenya and is not eligible. (Although, to make it fun, it should be noted that Obama born outside the US to one citizen and one non-citizen parent puts him in exactly the same situation as Ted Cruz.)
There is still no method in the Constitution prescribed for removing him from office other than impeachment and conviction.
That presupposes he is the President, if he is not Constitutionally eligible to be the president then he cannot be impeached because he cannot be the President — right?
Even someone supposedly ineligible to be president has the right to due process to determine whether this or is not the case.
What person or body do you propose make this determination? The Constitution provides no guidance. It provides no guidance as to dealing with someone elected who is ineligible.
Do we really want to turn such determination over to an already overly powerful court system?
To my mind it is clear the Founders intended the determination of eligibility to be left up to the members of the Electoral College. It provides no remedy for an error on their part.

I would expect that the House of Representatives would have the legal right to demand that the birth records be unsealed, in order to provide positive identification on what is the true origin of Barry/Barack/Steve Obama/Sotoro/Sobarkah/Dunham.
I agree, but IIRC the courts declared that even members of the Electoral College do not have the "standing" to force the issue.
