Senator Ted Cruz Came In Like A Wrecking Ball

Chris Cillizz at the Washington Post says, ”Ted Cruz isn’t planning to be in the Senate for very long.” I think Chris is 100% right. I think Ted Cruz will finish blowing up things in the Senate just in time for a 2016 run for the Presidency. If the right wanted someone to come in, and not only fight the Democrats and their liberal agenda, but stick their nose up at GOP leadership, they couldn’t have asked for more than Ted Cruz is giving.

Chris goes on:

By forcing the Senate to round up 60 votes to end debate and force a final vote on a clean increase of the debt ceiling, Cruz knowingly complicated things for the top two Republicans in the chamber — Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) and Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn (Texas). Both men face primary challenges from their ideological right and neither relished the idea of helping break a filibuster for a debt ceiling increase with no Republican proposals attached.

Here’s how the Wall Street Journal’s conservative op-ed page described what Cruz did:

“We’re all for holding politicians accountable with votes on substantive issues, but Mr. Cruz knew he couldn’t stop a debt increase the House had already passed. He also had no alternative strategy if the bill had failed, other than to shut down the government again, take public attention away from ObamaCare, and make Republicans even more unpopular.”

Where does he get his power? Oh my. Uh. The rule of law?

The journalists in this country are vapid and uninformed, and lawless, in biblical measure.

The good Senator Cruz was on Bob Sheiffer’s show last week.

“You shut down the government, blah blah blah”

Ted Cruz said, “-”

And was interrupted by that nasty old man with a grin with, “John Boehner, the speaker of the house, says your shutting down the government was a mistake”.

The republicans join the dems and the media when it comes to attacking Cruz. That’s who he’s up against.

But, like Marcus Lutrell, Cruz is ready and equipped.

This author is either a bad writer or confused, nervous, hoping Cruz will fail.

It is an incoherent piece with an incoherent theme. she goes from wrecking ball, an apt metaphor, to Bull in a china shop, without stating the change. That’s classic propaganda. He might be a Doberman in a china shop, but I digress.

She wants to know from where he gets his power.

Here’s what she says:

“Ted Cruz went to Washington promising to shake things up”...

NO. He went, like every other senator, promising to protect and defend the constitution.

He gets his power from the constitution.

The media and the dems think that because they disagree with parts of it, they have enough power to ignore it, and that it has no power. They are confused.

And ignorant.

She writes about him and never saw his Q & A with Feinstein?

The ONLY reason for the constitution to not be relevant, to be powerless, would be, or is, due to the allowance of that by the opposition party, the republicans.

In the case of the house, the party in power does not care about the constitution, making Cruz appear like a shaker upper. But he’s just adhering to the law.

Boner told Jay Leno that the republicans shut down the government.

You just defined what the gop needs to do to fight the democrats. Every time they’re in front of a camera they need to stick to the talking points. Don’t answer the left wing reporters’ questions. Just state the talking points over and over and over.

That won’t happen because the gopE are more concerned about being loved by their “good friends across the aisle” than by the people they’re supposed to represent.

The Liberals in Washington have created an immensely powerful central government.

Can you imagine the screams when President Cruz takes control of Washington, including the Dept. of Justice, EPA, IRS, HHS, DHS..............All of it.

I can hardly wait!

As I have stated before and will stand by.... Rather than being loyal to the “party line”, I am fully, totally, completely committed to the protection and preservation of our Constitution.

I will only support a candidate who follows my philosophy. TED CRUZ, SARAH PALIN, MIKE LEE, and ALLEN WEST are such people.
