Between my childhood shots, my military shots, and my health care professional, I thinki I have been immunized against measles, mumps, and rubella about a dozen times.
When I went into Navy boot camp in 1980, they tested all of the recruits for immunity to rubella, and only vaccinated the handful who were not immune. I was one of two in my company of 80 girls who had to get vaccinated. It was one of the more painful vaccinations.
When I joined the Army, I only had to show my shot records. They did not give me any vaccinations that were recorded in those records. I think I only received the hepatitis A and B vaccine during basic training--because I requested it--because I am medical personnel, so could be exposed in the course of my duties.
