Idiot Klein spewing the 'job lock' talking points. Amazing how the left organizes to spin epic failure so quickly. They literally make up a new word or phrase to paint the pig.

Free the Entrepreneurs with More Socialism!

Well, it’s extremely creative use of Pretzel Logic, I’ll give them that.

Obamacare is a job killer and they know it. The thing is, they literally consider it an “Honor Killing” for the greater good of their religion of liberalism.

People who stay under a certain income to get gov aid are not the people who go out and become entrepreneurs.

Why? So they can make more money and lose the subsidies they're getting?

If putting people on gov. assistance sparked economic booms, why are we in a sluggish recovery now

It is, in truth, a conservative argument–a freedom argument. I’ve always loved the logic of it. There are thousands, maybe tens of thousands, of people with clever ideas for starting businesses who are trapped in their current jobs because of the need to provide health insurance for their families. These are the potential Wright brothers, the middle managers who see a better, more efficient way to process a product, the tinkerers who come up with a new valve, the designers who come up with a snazzzy new pattern.

The fly in the ointment of this argument is that before Obamacare, people were entirely free to quit their jobs and start businesses. They'd either use COBRA from their employer or buy insurance from an insurance company or through an insurance broker.

The main difference now with Obamacare is that the insurance will cost much more money, and that's less money to put into the new business. Anyone who actually believes this scenario is looking at Obamacare through rose-colored glasses that are so deeply tinted that it's impossible to see the cliff that they are walking over.

“The problem is, there is no way to anticipate or calculate the number of jobs that will be created by newly liberated entrepreneurs-”

How about looking at that great entrepreneurial and artistic development engine of the past 50 years called “Medicaid”. /sarc

Progressive logic on parade. And they are actually proud of their idiocy and flaunt it. God help America!

This article is so moronic it almost defies comment. People aren’t “trapped in their jobs” because they need health insurance, they WORK to provide food, shelter and clothing.

My first thought as I read this was that I hadn’t seen anything this stupid since I stopped reading Joe Klein.

Yeah, because families who suddenly lose a Grand per month from their budget are more apt to increase their spending.

Hey stupid; no tax can be a shot in the arm to the depressed US economy. Obama wants more taxes only to take more money OUT OF THE ECONOMY, making matters worse at each turn.

If anybody understands the economy and entrepeneurship it’s liberals. They’re savants that way.
