I remember the American Indian Movement. Probably the first time in history that tribes who slaughtered each other joined to shakedown the whitemen back in the 1970s.

That's them. Notice they didn't call themselves the "Native American Movement".

To quote a famous AIM leader:

"The word Indian comes from 'Indios' which means 'with God'. I'd rather be with God than a native American"
