I have tons of this round and Schirroco as well.

Also Prizi, Wolf, So Africa, Argentina NATO rounds.

I was shooting last year and a fellow came up to my lane to inform me I might bit want to shoot “high power “ rounds through my M1A.

I asked why and he proceeds to tell me about max PSI in a chamber on the M1.

I politely listen then inform him I think I recently read that same article.

The discussion was about Garlands.

So I repeat a bit if the article back and show him the differences between his rifle and mine.

I also inform him that this gun doesn’t care what you feed it.

It has a voracious appetite.

I hand him the rifle and set him up on my lane and tell him to shoot till gets tired and if he moves anything on my sight to feel free bit write it down.

So he runs through 3 mags and I’m reloading and talking to my brother.

The fella takes the empty mag out and secure my.rifle

He notices something I hadn’t noticed “Schirroco rounds are pretty expensive”. He says.

I laugh and realize I grabbed ammo from the wrong shelf but, tell him to”Even more expensive if you don’t got em and need them. I got 30,000 rounds of 308. I’ll survive.

Though I am saving Schirroco and Hornady for the real rainy day when every shot counts and I need to reach out and touch someone”

I think I shot about $800 bucks that day.

Oh well

And my Garand can take anything as well. I up graded the barrel and had it chambered in .308.

Luv it.....

Ahhhh, M1As.....will eat anything you feed it...green brass will go thru them. Love my NM and would not trade it for nothing.

First rifle out of the sack when I am on my range.
