I am excited and honored to lead this committee that is so critical to Louisiana and the nations economic vitality, job creation and energy security. Im humbled to be a part of the long list of pro-energy senators from both parties who have led this committee with strength, vision and distinction, including one of Louisianas finest, J. Bennett Johnston
During the coming weeks and months, I will remain focused on moving an agenda forward that is inclusive, bipartisan and focused on the job creation that America needs and wants. Everything we do will be part of helping to build the middle class and expanding opportunities for entrepreneurs in the domestic energy sector. Increasing domestic energy production and fortifying and expanding the infrastructure that connects producers, refiners and consumers will help us achieve this goal."

leverage in her race for re-election.
I hope and pray that the good people of Louisiana aren’t taken in by this subterfuge of Harry Reid and Obama.

Probably the reason the switch is occurring.
“Like a laser beam?”
More like a moon beam. She’s a moron.
Mary and Lisa
She is, nonetheless, a lying, cheating skank. The many conservatives in Louisiana deserve better.
Same here. Maybe auction off some hand turns on a few local generators to help. Bet the proceeds would be a nice chunk of change.
I will be happy to drive over to Louisiana to volunteer to flip the switch. With my sense of humor, I would be flipping on and off rapidly and enthusiastically. :-)
