Way back when this was first made available it was the in onsistancy of the lines that alerted me. The job of “stripper” in news office was to literally cut out the printed material and paste it in its place on the page. Each individual stripper got in a groove and developed their own style if someone else finished or did part of their assignment it was obvious to the trained eye.
That’s what I observed years ago I think you just confirmed my thoughts thanks

In 1961, newspapers were still using hot type and linotype machines. Offset presses using the stripping process didn’t come into wide use until a decade later.
