It’s pouring down snow, 21°F, and the only birds I have seen lately are crows and a single
woodpecker that was trying to get a meal from the mortar between the bricks on our house.
Poor little thing.
I felt sorry for it, but there isn’t much I can do in the way of giving it fat, juicy grubs.
I have 2 suet cages and lots of woodpeckers. They love it. I used to get boxes of suet from Walmart but 3 times it’s been spoiled and only the crows will eat it so now I buy the $1 cakes at Lowe’s.
