I hope Reid can see it from his kitchen window.

It’s a nice composition, but lacks detail. Almost mannequin-ish.

They should rename the Grand Tetons after Bill Clinton.

Death valley..should be renamed.after Harry Reid!
I have to wonder how old Harry feels about the possibility of there being a Mt Reagan in his home state.

They should name every sewage plant and dump in the country after prominent LIBs/DIMs.

The locals call it Sunrise Mountain.
No one calls it Frenchman.
And it's just a hill on the east side. The real mountains are north (Sheep Range) and west (Spring Mts).

There is a great RWR statue in Fredricksburg TX, too. About 9-feet tall and decked out in cowboy gear.
I got a picture of me-self “shaking hands” with The Gipper.

I lived on Sunrise when stationed @ Nellis back in the 80s (Reagan Years), went back there about ten years ago and the once nice neighborhood had turned into a total ghetto.

There is a new statue being made of Reagan riding his horse. It will be placed at the Presidential Library. I had the chance to see it being made in the artists studio. Really cool. Don’t think it will be finished for a couple of months.

Yep. Drive down Lake Mead Blvd to Sunrise Mountain and you'd swear you were in Mexico. Half the business signages are in Spanish only.
It's rather shocking if you remember the old Vegas.

Definitely shocking, when we live there our apartment was on the last street on the left before heading over Sunset to Lake Mead, the view was gorgeous, neighborhood not too bad.
Couldn’t find the street initially in 2001 - they had built another dozen or more streets up the mountain, all ghetto, cars on blocks, etc. Sad.
To: Flycatcher
Sunrise Mountain may be puny compared with, say, Mt. Charleston, but when you first see it driving up from the south, you realize that you have arrived in Las Vegas.

Reagan and Sin City?
No way
