Obama is using Putin as a foil to energize the gay rights crowd for the 2014 mid term election. Obama realizes that if the Democrats suffer severe enough losses, not only will Obamacare be in jeopardy, but Obama’s legacy and the quality of his post-Presidency career will also be much diminished.

Tokyo was scheduled for the 1940 Summer Olympics. Sapporo, Japan, was scheduled for the 1940 Winter Olympics. Neither one worked out.

I guess back then the same country got both the Winter and Summer Games, because the 36 Winter Olympics were also held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.

Russians and many Americans like Putin’s shtick. We don’t like 0bammas pro gay shtick. It’s repulsive while Putin’s public persona is good to excellent. Like petting the Persian leopard cub yesterday.
