Sometimes a person's known behavior makes it impossible to defend them when they get accused of something they really didn't do.

Like Michael Jackson. For all of the accusations, he still got off legally.

But just how freakin' WEIRD it is for a 40 year old man to have slumber parties with young boys?

However, the 30 million dollar payoff to that one family is damning.

Maybe he was "innocent" in 99% of the cases.

But by the point of his trial, NOBODY believed him.

We'll never really know what happened. People can be strange, and do strange things, yet not do anything wrong. Most people realize this and behave appropriately, but others are not able to. For whatever reason(s), they are eccentric or odd. In a case like this, when there appears to be no concrete, absolute evidence of guilt or innocence, we will always be left to wonder.

Both Mia and Woody Allen are unusual, and might have reason to lie about what occurred.
