I watched the first five minutes, switched to a documentary on Prince Charles’ childhood on PBS instead. Much more exciting.
It was nice to see a team win other than the usual cast of characters like New York or New England or Green Bay. Also, as a die-hard Chiefs fan, it was a pleasure to watch Seattle kick the stuffing out of the Broncos.
The Broncs were drubbed by Seattle, Peyton Manning was embarrassed and once again showed he cannot win the Big Game.
I received an email that said “Last great run by a Bronco was in 1994”
and showed photo of police chasing OJ down the freeway.
I had to attend to a church function, and by the time I got home and hit the front door it was 22-0.
Most of the people at our house left during the third quarter. Horrible game (except for Seahawk fans), tired of hearing about New York/New Jersey, commercials were not worth the time either. Over all - thumbs down.
Unless you were a Seahawks fan that was a terrible game to watch. I should have just watched the half time show. It was the most entertaining part of the event.
I read a good book, finished it and started another one. But is the super duper halftime show available for viewing on Youtube?
How come when last year Ray Rice and this year Russell Wilson gave thanks to God in the microphones that no media said a blip about it and rightfully so. When Tim Tebow did it he was ripped apart and criticized on all sides. Media hypocrisy on full display.
Very basic, yet quite a revealing point.
You were right.
Tim Tebow is white!
The only team that could have beaten the Seahawks yesterday were the Niners.
That game was the REAL Super Bowl.
Rush is disappointed because he fell for the media over-hype of the game. Look, I wanted Peyton to get the win just so that the post season monkey malignment would finally be off his back.
The man is a quarterback genius, but I think the Manning Generalissimo pre-game planning methods had the Broncos tight and nervous. News reports had Manning peppering and testing his teammates about every possible play scenario. The picture of Manning with his wired helmet on while icing his foot said it all. It was Control-Freak-Land in their training camp.
In contrast, Pete Carroll’s loose and inspirational style carried the day. A team with something to prove as opposed to a team having to defend its reputation will almost always prevail.
As bad as the Broncos played, they were not embarrassed. You can only be embarrassed if you lose to an inferior opponent - like being pinned to the mat by Richard Simmons or electing a totally unqualified man to run a country.
Not the Colts. Luck did just fine.
I watched a Kojak and a Columbo episode
LOL yeah Ive seen that photo all over twitter. I was hoping for a competitive game, knew the Seahawks play amazing defense but didn’t expect a blowout, would have been nice to be right down to the wire but that’s how it is
I reloaded shotgun shells and had the game as background noise.
