As we drove through the French Countryside, with friends with whom we had already ben to the Vatican, Normandy, Paris, and other parts, we stopped en route to Bernadette’s, priest with vestments in tow, to stay at a villa with a Contessa.
Stopping for lunch, enjoying local ground beef burgers, et vin, we hopped back in, for the rest of the ride, the teens in the back (not mine) watching videos, we commented on how they were missing it. It was so beautiful. Rolling hills. Happy cows, Vineyards. Many large crucifixes adorned the gates of the farms.
My friend said, “God really blessed France”
The Blessed Mother appeared there on many occasions. The Vatican approved of these apparitions, stating there was no reason, after devil’s advocacy of the highest degree, to not believe it, but that it was not necessary to believe it in order to be a Christian. France was saved so many times. Notably during the Second World War.
It might be surprising to see what happens.
Personally, I don't think anything good can happen there after 1789. But that, too, can be remedied. What France needs is a good counter-revolution, and God's blessing will return.
