Article Two, Section 1 of the United States Constitution sets forth the eligibility requirements for serving as President of the United States:

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

OK, I see what you are saying. It does not define natural born.

By the way- Isn’t everyone “natural born”?? In the history of man has anyone ever been unnaturally born? Maybe test tube babies?

Exactly!

And I've read the opinions of those alive at the birth of our country who fell on both sides of this argument, that it takes 2 and some says it takes 1 US Citizen parent to make a child a natural born citizen of the US.

So until and unless either Congress or the US Supreme Court steps up to the plate and defines it for us as 2 citizen parents, Ted Cruz IS a natural born citizen and completely able to seek the position of President of the United States.
