Only 5?
That’s a bit like Rush’s statement about why feminism was begun, i.e., to give ugly women a chance in the world.
I just read up on Alice Walker, the write of “Color Purple”.
It also says this:
“She is a staunch defender not only of human rights, but of the rights of all living beings”.
I guess that doesn’t apply to her daughter having a living being.
She got married after college and had her daughter, Rebecca. I guess it was ok for her to have a baby but not her daughter.
She had a short romance with Tracy Chapman years after her divorce from her husband.
“That would be a utopia... for the men.”

I suspect that less than a week of it would cause you to reevaluate that statement. Have you ever tried to deal with a horny woman when you are dead tired and cannot hold your eyes open?
Even the AMAZONS of mythology had to have men to replenish their ranks of women.
Not an exact match, but maybe ‘Princess Ida’?
Which is why the only way they can reproduce is by stealing other people's children. Which is why so many of them wind up on college faculties.
There is nothing uglier than office politics between warring women.
This notion that there is a “sisterhood” where women look out for each other and mentor each other is BS
The Big Lie I’m tired of hearing is how women earn less than men because of Men Keeping Them Down and outright Discrimination.
Nevermind the fact that there are entire INDUSTRIES that are primarily worked by men - lumberjacks, miners, police, firemen - that are inherrently dangerous, and therefore have higher rates of compensation.
Biology dictates that a women will spend less time on the job.
If women wanted to be honest - they would give the guys credit for putting in more hours (and I’m speaking in general terms of course - there are women who don’t have children & don’t take extended Leaves)
Is it wrong for employers to give men credit for time served?
Is a woman being “punished” if she doesn’t get the same raise he received?
And exactly WHEN did it become the employer’s job to pretend she is “there” when she isn’t?
And I’ve had several children so I know how hard it is to try and keep up - but I can’t deny that everyone that didnt go on Leave had to work harder during that time.
And once many women have one or two children - they may not WANT to climb the ladder with ruthless ambition.
The liberals accuse us of not being “nuanced” - but they can sure break down a cim
Whoops! Dang phone.
... They can break down a complicated issue into a moronic soundbite for political purposes.
That is a 100% accurate observation. I hated being caught in the crossfire.
There were days crossing the parking lot I hoped a car would hit me or I would have a heart attack. Any excuse not to go in there. It was a messed up period.
“... They can break down a complicated issue into a moronic soundbite for political purposes.”
Agree 100%.

That is inherently unfair and needs to be remedied through legislation or whatever means available immediately.
“That would be a utopia... for the men”
Except that the women running this utopia would be man hating lesbians.
I love my male boss.
He didnt have a problem with my private choices regarding child bearing (my female bosses did)
He didnt play ridiculous head games.
He was direct- and if you messed up - he told you exactly why. Then he moved on& didn’t hold a grudge!
I’m so sick of witchy women demonizing men. Sure there are jerks and chauvinist pigs out there, but alot of these “ladies” should take a good look in the mirror.
I’ve run into a few good female supers.
The fat, ugly, socialist hag I refer to was evil, at least to anyone that didn’t meet whatever standards she had. Those seemed to change a lot.
One time I had a severe muscle spasm and I was walking worse than Frankenstein. She just looked at me with a “so what” look. A quick visit to the chiro fixed it.
