They lost confidence in Herman Cain because he funneled family money to another woman other than his wife, and his wife never knew.
You are correct. If he is a conservative, now is the time to back him with all we’ve got and clear a path for him.
What stopped Cain in 2000 and in his attempt at the 2004 Senate primary? Going from never holding office to defeating an incumbent president as his first election win, was not going to happen, don’t blame his shortcomings on FR, or even primary voters.
President of the United States is not an entry-level job. When you say “We are the problem” you speak only for yourself. Stop blaming FR.
My main point was, many here on FR accepted many of the trash stories by Politico and other rags concerning our candidates. You have to give it to the Dems, at least they stand by their people. We accepted the Left’s narrative on our own candidates...we believed their sh*t!
I don’t know many times I read here on FR after a negative MSM story on one of our candidates: “Yep, they’re just not ready for prime time!” And yet, many FReepers bitched about Romney being our candidate! They actually helped him win the primary!
I bailed on Cain because of his pizza-deal tax policy. Why keep an income tax? It can only punish success.
