Though former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was not included in a Public Policy Polling survey of potential 2016 Republican presidential contenders, she was still overwhelmingly the most liked person among Republican primary voters. According to Public Policy Polling:
The best liked person we tested on this poll with Republican primary voters is actually Sarah Palin who has a 70/20 favorability rating. She's followed by Huckabee at 64/18, Ryan at 58/18, Paul at 58/21, Bush at 56/18, Cruz at 45/20, and Christie at 40/38. Most of those numbers are similar to what they were a month ago but Christie's seen a substantial drop from +18 at 47/29 a month ago to his new +2 net favorability.
The left-leaning polling outfit asked Republican primary voters, "Given the choices of Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, and Scott Walker, who would you most like to see as the GOP candidate for President in 2016?"
Huckabee led among the group with 16% to 14% for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush; 13% for Chris Christie;

Well, she certainly isn't "good enough" for you.
Who is your preferred candidate?
Who among the current crop of RINOs is more qualified than Sarah Palin and would win your vote?
If you've got someone, then push them up instead of trying to tear Sarah Palin down.
I can tell you right now that Free Republic is Sarah Palin Country. You don't have to support her, but if you decide to waste you energy tearing her down on this forum, you will be joining pissant in outer darkness.
And that would be a shame because I've always enjoyed your company here.
Biggest mistake the Obama machine made was their failed attack on Sarah Palin in the governorship. She resigned her office for one real reason, to take the fight to the Establishment.
And immediately went to work to help deliver one of the greatest mid-term election landslides in history. I hope you will recall that it was Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh that led the way in taking on the Obama administration on the issues long before others had the courage to chime in. You can look it up. Sarah Palin for the win!
To make her victories even more impressive is that she has had to fight the power apparatus of her own party. I have to wonder about those on our side that cannot appreciate that fact.
She isn't returning to political office, get used to that fact.
You guys kill me!
And?
Scott Walker is a pro-amnesty Republican.
That alone disqualifies him in my book.
Don’t lecture me, and you’re wrong.
On many levels, Sarah Palin’s accomplishments since she left office exceed the majority of those holding office, when it comes to the advancement of conservative causes.
Nobody, and I mean nobody, can rally TEA Party conservatives like Sarah Palin or draw crowds anywhere near the numbers in hers.
I’m not going to bother to try to sell or convince you. I went to a book signing of hers in Monroe, LA on a very cold night last December, and I was #604 in line, but had to leave to change my shoes, so when I came back I was at the near end of the line (700 and something)!
BTW, she knows all about Free Republic!
xzins is right, FR is Palin Country!!!!
I think Walker has done a great job in Wisc. standing up to the Unions and balancing the budget.
You are hazzin a smell.
These are the litmus tests that keep dividing Conservatives and letting guys like McCain and Romney end up as our candidates.
How about lifting up and motivating an entire grassroots movement? Palin has worked tirelessly and effectively in office(as her leaked emails showed) and since leaving office in wide and varied ways. I've been engaged with a number of grass root support groups and am very aware of what is happening. I do so because I care. Washington DC needs radical reforms and it is going to take a legion of people with the fighting spirit of Sarah Palin to carry it off. A purging of DC is needed and that includes the socialist bureaucracy as well as the elected officials who have lost their way.
Sorry, P-Marlowe is right.
Free Republic is PALIN COUNTRY!
That may be true, but he is now pushing for a path to citizenshiip for 25 million illegal alien invaders.
Giving Citizenship to all the illegal alien scofflaws will destroy the fabric of our Republic. When that happens, it is game over. And if it hasn't happened before Scott Walker becomes president, it will happen after he is elected.
Anybody else?
A conservative House and Senate will deal with immigration.
LOL!
Then FR must be McCain country, because she is a big McCain supporter!
Her constant defense of McCain shows her own lack of sound judgment.
