It seems to me that there are a lot of libertarians who have swallowed the so called "Free Trade" pill including Ron Paul.
But I think a lot of libertarians would be very pleased with the results of raising the tariffs and lowering the income tax.
I have posted before that I favor minimal Federal regulation libertarian economics within the 50 states and non-libertarian economic nationalism when it comes to other nations.
Libertarian free traders people want us to be libertarian within the US and also in relation to foreign trading nations. IOW they are one worlders who do not think in nationalistic terms even though they pay Federal US taxes and not to any kind of world organization such as the UN.
Free traitors taxes also pay for a US military which protects this nation and our economic interests to an extent.
