I could see the last place team in the NFC West next season, having at least 10 wins.

My hypothetical is, what if you have a Division, where no team loses a game outside of the Division, and each one splits their divisional games, so they wind up with identical 13-3 records. One of those teams is going to get left out of the playoffs.

I don’t think it will ever happen, but if it did, it could be in the NFC West.

One could certainly see a revolving door in the NFC West, depending on the previous year's standings. St. Louis gets to play a "last place" schedule, while the Seahawks play the "first place" schedule next year.

It's hard to maintain the intensity Seattle displayed, and they'll get everybody's best shot next year.
