Many FReepers have said to me: "I don't know anything about Linda Vega". Apparently a lot of folks don't want to be bothered with doing a Google Search so I, enthusiastically, present to you the following link re: Linda Vega who is running against John Cornyn in the GOP Primary for the U.S. Senate from Texas. A Conservative Hispanic lady who can win the run-off and the General Election.

Any post questioning your candidate.
As far as research goes, you posted this thread with the premise of providing info.
Perhaps if you were less insulting.

Those are all great and necessary questions
and if you get a chance attend a debate and ask
or at the very least challenge her on these questions at her web site
The Dems have so controlled this issue, well the Dems media and Hispanics that it can be a killer to actually want our own laws enforced
this is how low we have sunk
I wish we had taken care of this problem when we still could but even Reagan walked away from it
Quite a few Stockman haters crawling out of the woodwork.
Definitely engages my flak/target suspicions.
SO WHAT MAKES ANYONE THINK THEY ARE GOING TO ENFORCE NEW LAWS????????????????????????????????????????????
Yeah.
Wonder what the deal is.
Tends to give them fits.
That’s Stockman on the right with the striped tie.
Hmm, I see why some of them would have their eyes cross!
From her issues page:
I am not for amnesty. I believe that we must reform our Broken Immigration system. It is not modern, prohibits our economic opportunities, and allows many to receive benefits while undocumented. If we intend to deal with overstays and illegal entries, then we must have a logical plan to do so.A law needs to be written that is good for Texas and good for America. Our border needs to be protected. All that go across the border should have security checks, as it is a matter of safety for our citizens. Those who cannot meet our requirements should leave the country, and that I am willing to support.
She needs to go into greater detail.
I strongly suspect her notion of what amnesty is and mine don't line up. It doesn't matter, though. There are other candidates who are willing to step up and clearly say what they mean without the mealy-mouth verbiage. I favor Stovall but would be ok with Stockman.
Oops, forgot the ‘e’ on the end of your name :p (ping)
They won’t be new laws as much as they will be changes in policy
What is defacto happening now will simply become policy
It is wrong but sadly there are more of them ( dems media Hispanics) than there are of people who understand who and how our country was built
This isn’t a lot different than the change in gay marriage
We didn’t act when we should have
So tell me, are you the campaign manager for this twit lawyer? Because Shirley, you protest too much!
Enforce the law, simple KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid)
FYI
Erick Wyatt Withdraws Endorsement
December 10, 2013 in Politics, Senate Races, Texas
Today I am officially withdrawing my endorsement of Linda Vega for US Senate. After talking more with Ms. Vega and her staff, I have decided that there are many topics that we are very far apart from in our beliefs and some are on major topics.
I wish Ms. Vega luck in the Senate race as well as the rest of the candidates that were able to file before the 9 December deadline.

Interesting. I’m taking another look at Dwayne Stovall.
