Seriously, that position (no NEW Laws when laws currently exist) is pure brilliance. It is almost impossible to argue against. Even in the comments one of your readers pointed out that if a current law isn’t working that it needs to be fixed, not another law to plaster over the bad one.
I believe it was Lincoln who said the best way to get rid of a bad law was to strictly enforce it. You don’t make another. Think Obamacare.

Lincoln was a good and great man, but had he lived until now he would regret those words. Especially where Obamacare is the topic.
