Can you shop around for the best price among two or three vendors ?

Our gas comes from MFA Propane (Missouri Farmers Association) a cooperative.

If the price is too high, maybe forming a CO-OP might be an answer.

A site would have to be found, and a very large propane tank to dispense from.

Then fill it summer, and have a CO-OP truck make deliveries in winter.

Shares could be sold in the CO-OP to defray investment costs.

The biggest problem might be EPA regulations...

Yes. I have! $2.199 was the cheapest. Others were $2.549 and $2.799. My friends in Jersey are in the $3.50 range!
