The Islamic Waqf, which supervises the Temple Mount, Judaism's holiest site, has issued a pamphlet that makes new claims regarding the Mountarguing, among other things, that King Solomon was a Muslim and that there is no Jewish connection to either the Temple Mount or the Western Wall (Kotel). [ ]
In one section, titled, Al-Buraq Wall and NOT the Wailing Wall, the pamphlet teaches, Al-Buraq wall is part of the western wall of the Al-Aqsa mosque. The pamphlet goes on to link the wall to Islam, stating that it is known as the site where Mohammed tied his winged steed, Al-Buraq. (According to Islamic legend, Muhammed did not die, but flew to heaven on a winged horse called Al-Buraq.) [ ]
The updated pamphlet denies historical evidence that the Biblical King Solomon ever built a Jewish Temple, offering the following argument as proof: Solomon was just another prophet of Islam, and therefore, he could not have the authority to build a structure for the worship of any other god but Allah.

Islam is only 1700 years old, King Solomon lived 2800 years ago. Kind of hard to be a member of the foremost religion of hate and murder when it wont exist for another 1000 years! Such is the stupid revisionist history of the religion of peace i.e. hate!
Lets forget the simple fact that Solomon lived 1500 years before mad mo.
Same origin as the first name of the president?
Are you SURE Buraq doesn’t mean “north end of a south bound horse - or something”?
For those who use a larger chunk of the internet thats fine...
Im often surprised about what a narrow swathe of this huge network many people ever venture “into” to learn anything but ball scores and what aunt becky had for lunch. Now theres nothing wrong with that information but its does not lead to a more socio politically informed people.
The core attitudes of the “news presenters” will likely remain the same.
Its up to each of us...in our face to face conversations to present the world as it is.
Sorry, 1st sentence should read, “The article says Muslims teach Mohammed didnt die, but instead flew to heaven on a winged horse.”
Islam teaches no such thing.
Uh, King Solomon existed a 1000 yrs before Mohammed (pbuh). "Piss" being the operative word in that acronym. So how does that work, Waqf?

....But do not be afraid to refer to the resources as well, which includes the new media.
I agree with you. Muslims don't.
From their POV all the prophets of the Old Testament as well as Jesus were good Muslims. (Not sure what they believe about Paul and the other apostles.)
Islam did not, from this perspective, come into existence with the teachings of Mohammed. It was the faith of all believers in God prior to him also. Mo merely purified and finalized the faith.
From this perspective, Judaism and Christianity are deviations from and heresies of Islam, the primitive pure religion. This is somewhat similar to the way many Protestants view Catholicism as a corruption of the original Christian faith, and their own sects as a return to that original doctrine. Or what Mormons believe about all other Christian groups.
Now this isn't something I agree with, but since Muslims believe it, it is not at all illogical for them to claim Adam, Moses, Noah, Solomon and Jesus as good Muslim prophets.
I believe it's untrue, but it's not illogical.
Didn’t stop whomever authored the Koran to write stuff about him, his dad David, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ishmael, Jesus, Mary and lots of other Biblical figures.
And of course, back in 1925, the Waqf explicitly stated that the Temple Mount is Jewish.
after the next massive Islamo terrorism strike , the world needs to take advantage of the opportunity to eliminate this curse from the fabric of humanity . While the non muz forces are still stronger and hold the majority . This world cannot afford to wait .
Also in a audience (1939) he had with Hitler IIRC.

"(According to Islamic legend, Muhammed did not die, but flew to heaven on a winged horse called Al-Buraq.)"
That statement is flatly untrue. Muslim legend says no such thing.
There are ambiguous similar stories in the Bible regarding Enoch and Elijah not dying but instead being taken straight to Heaven, but nothing in Islam.
Which Muslim legend? There are lots of them. Muslim legend and Muslim canon can be different things.
PS. It does not take a perfect knowledge of Islamic canon to validly criticize Islam.
Correct.
Solomon was just another prophet of Islam, and therefore, he could not have the authority to build a structure for the worship of any other god but Allah. That's the kind of fake thinking that becomes inevitable after generations of consanguinous marriages.
There's nothing came out of that drugged mind that wasn't plagiarized from another religion or culture.
The template for the 'magic horse' is from ancient India, as is algebra, also claimed by the thieves of the desert.
There are obvious similarities to the Hindu Goddess Kamadhenu, who took the form of a wish-fulfilling cow, often depicted with wings and a peacock's tail, like Al Buraq.
It's just a detail, but Muhammad (born 570 AD, died 632 AD) founded Islam about 1400 years ago.
