Sounds like something our fellow American's need to hear as they wake up from their slumber .....
Just an idea...
People in the military (and even new citizens) take an oath similar to:
“I, _____, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; So help me God.”
Those of us patriots who have never served have never taken this oath, even though we may feel it deep in our hearts...
It could make a powerful statement at the American Spring 2014, national or local events if the attendees at some point all took this oath together in unison.
Because even though we aren’t all in the armed forces, we are all citizens and need to be on guard for the Constitution.
Maybe taking the oath would make that point clear to all Americans- we are the sentries not someone else.
