That may be true but it means nothing insofar as your kneejerk reaction to this story. You are reacting the same way the Left did by attempting to blame this all on some hothead with a pistol and a Napoleon complex.
I think today's facts (as reported and photographed in multiple news sources) speak for themselves. Based on preliminaries in front of a judge, the shooter was pictured wearing a prison-issued suicide vest and not allowed to post bond. Given that police officers are often afforded the benefit of the doubt, this indicates that the prosecution is perceived by the judge to have a strong case.
And secondly, Zimmerman had a bloodied head and nose at the police station immediately after the shooting of Martin, evidence of an actual assault for which he claimed a right of self-defense. In the movie theater, however, the unarmed victim was only accused of throwing popcorn, and even that wasn't proved.
