Is this really what we've devolved to as a society? No one can say anything to someone breaking the rules and should just move away if it bothers us like we are sheep? Otherwise we should expect to be attacked if we have the temerity to actually say something to someone doing something wrong?
My point here is this was a bad shoot no matter what.
I disagree, there are not enough facts to say either way.
He didnt know for sure if he was going to hit his target or the person in front, or next to the man.
That's easy to say but in fact he did his target. If nothing else his judgement was sound there
.
Thank goodness the gun jammed... or we could be hearing about more coffins and grieving families over texting.
This is simply an emotional appeal. Witnesses don't suggest he even tried to shoot again or even clear the jam.
That is my take. You never know when someone is going to snap. You might be right, but dead right. In an instance like this, I would have moved to another seat. If another seat wasn't was available, I would have requested a refund and came back later.

-shooting two people, the husband in the chest, and his wife in the hand, over texting is “sound judgment”?
The judge said there was ample evidence, based on eye witness testimony to charge this ex-cop, Curtis Reeves, with second degree murder, and she also denied Reeves bail. This was the second time Reeves had threatened someone in the theater, the other time, a woman said he followed her out to the bathroom. He’s clearly a confrontational guy. Hearing on Reeves bail and charges are in video below:
