I am trying to get Cornyn beat in the primary.

Not as much money as the Perry/Dewhurst good ol’ boy lobby, but we may have a chance.

That is what I am doing.

Thanks for asking.

“I am trying to get Cornyn beat in the primary.”

Great idea — and then let’s have some Dem beat the newcomer in the real election. Obama will thank you.

How ‘Liberal’ Is Sen. Cornyn?

http://www.factcheck.org/2013/12/how-liberal-is-sen-cornyn/

“Actually, Cornyn is rated among the most conservative of all senators, and for years he’s voted in line with fellow Republican senators more often than all but a few of his GOP colleagues.”

“The fact is, however, that Cornyn was rated the second most conservative of all incumbent U.S. senators by the nonpartisan National Journal, based on his voting record in the last Congress, which sat during 2011 and 2012. He scored 93.8 percent on the Journal’s “composite” conservative scale, which melds ratings on economic, social and foreign policy votes. He even edged out South Carolina Republican Sen. Jim DeMint, a Tea Party leader who has since left the Senate to head the conservative Heritage Foundation.”

I wish I was as optimistic as you that voting is somehow going to make a difference. When the enemy is counting the votes, we’re screwed.

I’d vote for the trash collector over Cornyn. Well maybe not, the trash collector would probably be an Obozo supporter.

I’m hoping we can primary Cornyn out of office.

Who are you looking at to replace?

Me too.

He is throwing big money on ads trying to fool Texans he is conservative.

Meanwhile, he stabs fellow Texan Cruz in the back.

Who are you backing, Stockman? I got online to send him money but backed off when they required me to name my profession and employer.

Posters #27, #35, and others who think Cornyn is a RINO, please take another look....be very careful for whom you vote too many wannabees don't know jack about the United States Constitution even tho they swear to uphold and protect it.....not too many do that now.

Republican Rep. Steve Stockman of Texas says he’s running against Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s 2014 primary because the incumbent is a backstabbing “liberal” who only votes with Republicans “temporarily” when an election approaches. But Cornyn’s voting record shows otherwise. Actually, Cornyn is rated among the most conservative of all senators, and for years he’s voted in line with fellow Republican senators more often than all but a few of his GOP colleagues. In a “Dear Patriot” fundraising letter posted on Stockman’s campaign website Dec. 10, the congressman began: “You are in a foxhole fighting to save our constitutional Republic … … and the last thing you need is a Republican bayonet in your back.”

(look all elected up) a very helpful site.
