Either secession, or its time to leave. Let the libs die on the vine.

Screw that. Take up arms. It's getting close, imho.

Secession is an orderly, clean, legal process. Taking up arms is pure anarchy.

“Take up arms. It’s getting close, imho.”

As much as I hate to admit it, and even more hate to see it...I think you are probably right. God help us. I weep for my country.

Sorry, but your handguns and long guns are now obsolete and pose no threat against tecnology and enforcement by drone.

My theory is the government is feigning interest in gun control, fiddling with slandering guns, as some psychological testing of attitudes, measuring popular willingness to being made serfs. The numbers must be half by now, who support liberty, freedom and gunrights, from even 50 years ago.

Secession is a stupid idea which didn’t work the first time it was tried with a coalition of adjacent and like-minded states and will certainly not work now.

Taking back the Constitution will take a second revolution, period. Before anyone says there aren’t enough people who will take up arms to do this remember that for most of the first revolution there was no solid consensus among the people or the states. Enough took up the cause to carry it through and to win over enough people to win the day. Couldn’t succeed here? It has succeeded elsewhere where tyrants finally pushed the people a step too far.

The tyrant, his party and the loyalists including the RINOs and GOPe need to meet the same fate their predecessors did in Rev I.

I believe taking up arms is the last resort - it was for our Founders. And, in our case, taking up arms may just be what the community organizer-in-chief wants - then he really could be supreme, and look (at least to his low information faithful) morally right in doing so.

Maybe I’m naive, but I have faith in our Constitution and in the American people - that’s why we are the longest standing democratic government EVER.

Our Constitution specifies a three-part government - if one part tries to exceed its authority, the other two have the authority and power to correct that situation, and I see the SCOTUS putting some shots across the bow that correction may be required. And, I see a few Congressional Conservatives who have what it will take to make such corrections.

And, the American people have always ended up doing what is right, even though they may have strayed a bit before finding the right course. I see more and more Americans seeing the truth and becoming aware of just how far off course we have allowed ourselves to go. BUT, to me, it will take three things for that to work:

1) A return to the recognition that our success as a nation has and will continue to depend on our collective faith in the God of Creation - the One who the Founders credited with their success. To a large extent, we have pushed God out of our culture, and He won’t force Himself on a country that turns its back on Him. Suffice it to say that “separation of church and state” is a myth - just look at the founding of our country to see how much the Founders looked to, depended on, and supported Godly activity in society. They wrote that we should have “freedom of”, not “freedom from” religion.

2) Strong, truly Conservative leadership to bring the American Conservative majority together - leadership that inspires and brings unity.

3) Americans who are willing to get off their duffs and become familiar with the issues (not just the sound bites the MSM gives us), identify and support strong Conservative candidates, vote, and follow that strong Conservative leadership. We have allowed ourselves to become a nation of selfish individuals, demanding our way, often at the expense of those standing next to us - I have the right to demand that I get my way, but I also have the right to not demand my way - we need to learn again how to follow good leadership.

I don’t believe the time has come to take up arms. But, to avoid that necessity, the time has come for Conservative Americans to stand up and be counted.
