The U.S. Declaration of Independence states that “when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government”

WHY we aren’t doing so, leads me to believe that my country fellowmen/women have been subdued to the point they have no fight left in them and thus, would rather have their lives dictated to them, instead of remaining FREE....as our Lord has made us to be.

Have you ever heard of a concept called "supply chain" ? Grocery stores nowadays keep very low inventories on hand and receive trucks on a daily basis to restock.

Americans in the time of the revolutions mostly lived on farms in a very simple economy relative to today, and thus were far less reliant on stores for food and supplies. The men could more realistically pack up and go fight and have some chance that their family would have survived and their farm would still be there if they came back, though that was frequently not the case.

Today most people live hand-to-mouth. They can not go more than a few weeks or perhaps months without needing a paycheck, and they have bills to pay monthly. In order to not be fired, they must show up to work and conform to company policies. If they own their home they would most certainly lose it in a "revolution" type scenario. Government benefits would doubtless not go to any poor who had been "revolutionaries" unless they completely gave up their arms and basically dignity.

These realities are why an armed revolution or war of any kind on American soil, or really in all developed countries, would be so extremely painful, and participation would be so low, as to render it practically impossible.

What most people don't seem to want to admit is that having wealth gives one choices. Wealthy people do not have to show up to work unless they choose to. Wealthy people have most of the political influence. The real "revolution" would be to not vote for a Congressman, but get one of your own elected. That takes money, grassroots organizing, etc. Similar spreading of the Gospel is also what's needed. A moral, intelligent, hardworking population would be more receptive to moral leadership than an immoral, stupid, lazy population.

But committing to trying to gain wealth and influence means having to work, plan and sacrifice, and run the risk of not succeeding very much, which would be embarrassing, so a lot of folks prefer to harbor hope for a mythical "revolution" rather than knuckle down and get to the business of taking their country back.

The “supply chain” is irrelevant to my post. Because, when all the layers of the onion are peeled, what we are faced with, is this burning truth:

des·pot·ism
[des-puh-tiz-uhm]
noun

1.the rule of a despot; the exercise of absolute authority.

2.absolute power or control; tyranny.

3.an absolute or autocratic government.

4.a country ruled by a despot.

Plain & Simple. Plain & Simple. Plain & Simple. The time for TALK, has passed.

At this time, we can only conclude that we have a USURPER in charge of our country. One who, with pride and flagrant display rebukes the rule of law, and those who he has been ENTRUSTED by to govern, reserving himself as being the “know-all, do-all” of the modern-age.

An armed revolution is not the way to go. Why? Because our “founding fathers” instructed us what to do in these matters. That hasn’t changed even though a current and prior leadership fervently conspires to change this truth. We are a nation of PEOPLE, not government. We “already have” the tools in which to fix this...tho there are multitudes who have ‘forgotten’ this fact. On the flip side, the excruciating price we would pay IF (a revolution)came to pass, would be worth it. An actual “sacrifice”. There is NO other place like America, who has been blessed by God in the ways that no other place has. But now, because of the LOVE of money, and not God, this nation is under judgement.

Surely there are plenty of people with money who are not on the side of evil, but where are they?...if money is what it takes. We can have all the money in the world....but without the WILL to fight for our country, all else is FUTILE. Think about it...how pitiful is a nation of people who evolve into thinking they can ‘buy’ their way? And even tho there are countless people who believe this, it IS the inaction of the “will” that prevents ‘action’ on our part in fixing this. What profit is there in gaining the world (wealth & influence)...only to lose your very soul? Doing “good” stems from the WILL....not the pocketbook.
