As a fan of old school classic British iron, I’d be surprised if that was the highest price ever paid for a bike. If you had one of TE Lawrence’s Brough SS-100s up for sale, that’d be lowballing it. :-)

A few years ago I helped move the motorcycle museum in Anamosa Iowa. They have several Broughs and Vincents. I was a nervous wreck loading and unloading those!
