I did learn a lesson about wasting a vote for Romney
Romney was never a viable candidate.
His negatives on homosexuality, socialized medicine, and immigration were such that a sizable portion of the base would vote third party or abstain no matter what rhetoric was used to try to weedle them.
People opposed to him who voted for him anyway sacrificed principal without even a remote possibility of gain.
"They said if I voted for Romney, the country would be in the hands of a bizarre cult worshiping a ludicrous god, and they were right!"
