Wouldn’t you A: notice and B: reconnect with the person physically- whether you held her hand or grabbed a handful of clothing or grabbed onto some part of her life vest? It’s your boss for crying out loud. And did I mention that she’s a human being? Wow, just wow.
That is a strange reaction. One would think he would have attempted to do more for her.
