The size of the rocks matter from the standpoint of making an accurate scientific measurement, but it isn’t important from the standpoint of showing the ignorant that unless SOMETHING ELSE is adding energy into the system, the entire solar system loses thermal energy to space with every passing second.
As such, permanent, man-made global warming is impossible, which means you look at temporary catastrophic global warming next and try to make an argument that man can ‘move the needle’ on CO2 in comparison to, say, a single volcanic eruption.
