I certainly agree with you for the time being, but then I look at the license plates and UHauls tracking up and down these interstates, and like Redford in “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”, I find myself asking, “Who ARE these guys?”.
What are they doing here? I begin to wonder what the heck is unfolding for Texas and Oklahoma.
UHaul/Penske type trucks are hard to gauge where they come from as they get shuffled
around the country quite a bit. But it does mean people are moving. One interesting
thing I’ve been told is that truck rental fees for areas where people are leaving
are much higher than fees that would be going into that area.
