That’s an expensive place to live, but I think that in the capital, they just pay for the upkeep of the thermal works - no heating fuel bill!
It’s too bad that in most of the US, this type of energy is almost impossible to get at, except in the one place where you don’t need it - Hawaii.

Agreed. Geothermal is still in its infancy here. Of course if the earth is actually warming up then maybe the best investment is ammo and canned goods...
Geothermal. I wonder periodically why we can’t tap into the Yosemite caldera. Seems enough geothermal resource there to supply a good deal of energy
