Well, I lived in Sioux Falls from the time I was 9 until I was 19 (Dec 59 to Jan 70) and went into the Marines. My last winter there saw at least 3-4 ft of snow and at least two weeks where the average daytime temps were not above 10 degrees and went down to -15 to -20 overnight. That didn’t consider the wind chill. All of the winters during that time were snowy and cold. I went back to school in Lincoln NE and had several winters with extremes. In the AF we were stationed at Minot ND where those temps were the norm in winter and we had 3-day blizzards as late as the first week of May. Stationed at Omaha 80-85 and a lot of extreme temps and weather as well as Rapid City SD from 85-89 and back to Omaha and retirement in 89. What is the matter with these people. This is not that unusual, IT’S FREAKIN WINTER, adapt and get used to it. It’s not the GW hoax crap, it’s the norm.
GW? Check out the Children’s Blizzard of January 12, 1888.
We might have a repeat.
