As NewsBusters previously reported, MSNBCs Melissa Harris-Perry and a panel of comedians last weekend senselessly mocked a picture of former Governor Mitt Romneys family because it included his adopted black grandson.
Although shes already apologized on Twitter, Harris-Perry began her show Saturday with a heartfelt apology much of the time fighting through a lump in her throat and tears (video follows with transcript and commentary):

“When Chelsea Clinton, Hillarys daughter, adopted a black baby boy last year, the Old Media didnt say a word about her new pet child.”
I’m pretty sure that’s because it didn’t actually happen.
Melissa Harris-Perry is a racist.
She ought to cry she’s shameless.
Crying because she got caught. She is a racist loser and should self-deport.
The photo in question, I believe, is of Romney and wife with only the grand-kids - great pic - lots of kids!
Liberals are full of hate and superiority.
The rules about such things, as race, are only used to punish your enemies, not as something to believe in or endorse.
When those rules backfire, offer a worthless apology while still assaulting your enemies.
These are the rules of war as liberals see them. Conservatives think we should all be nice and respect each other.
It is no different than terrorists wanting to kill us while we think we can reason with them.
Public spanking would be good.
I think her tears are a way to say “Stop hurting me!” without words.
her mother was a white woman. How does that make her black?
There should be a cuckoo sound played every time she appears on TV.
As the Crocodile bit into its pray, its eyes wept involuntarily, the crocodile tears of a predator.
“They certainly failed to instill any of those White Mormon virtues in her. “
Well then, she’d be right at home with all of Harry Reid’s children. But then Harry’s wife is Jewish, so maybe his children are Jewish, not Mormon!
