sounds like the owner needs some range time.
Range time and adrenalin time are two different things.
Was friends with the owner of Abington Gun Store in Montgo. county Pa.
He could knock the sox off a flea at 100 yards. Good shot, very proficient.
He was NO wuzz. He was opening the store at 9:30 AM and got jumped by three street monkeys with hand cannons blasting in all directions.
After it was all said and done, he did manage to get off a few shots, but he was so rattled by adrenaline that it was really just shots in the wild.
Fortunately, he was not injured because the street monkeys were high as kites.
One monkey jumped over the neighbor's fence, (bar owner) [72 years old] who took a shot and hit him. He layed down and cried for "help." (bullet scraped his leg)
A wild day in Abington, Pa. All three were rounded up. Store owner, (a REALLY GOOD SHOT) sold the store to a friend two months later. The whole ordeal changed his mission in life.
Bottom line, you NEVER know what will happen. You train, train, train. The UNEXPECTED happens, and it changes your whole outlook.
