I agree with you. Although I hope Ryan does indeed work to “reverse pension cuts for former service members retired for medical reasons...”, I think there have to be SOME cuts on the military side. I am baffled by freepers’ hostility to proposed modest cuts in cost-of-living increases.

The reaction is because nothing less needed is being cut at the same time. No wonder Ryan keeps winning in a Democrat district in liberal WI.

That would be because the gov't is committed to inflation especially the kind they don't allege to measure.
