Like you, this explosion reminded me, too, of one associated with bomb making. Immediately I thought of the Weather Underground episode. I wonder if this latest explosion will be swept under the rug after they find the evidence?
Which public housing towers are you referring to?
I haven’t been there in a long time, but nobody in their right mind has been building “public housing towers” in the last 50 years. Mostly, they’ve been tearing them down.
Of course, I left 33 years ago because there were too many liberal idiots running the joint (and they still are,) so I might be wrong, but I don’t think this can be blamed on concrete edifaces.
I agree they need to get some search warrants and scrub that whole community.
It could still be the mosque. They could want the land if it’s next door and be looking to pick it up on the cheap after a fire.
IIRC, they burned down a half a block of homes and businesses. I think some MOVE/Back To African scumbags got fried, too. Good riddance!

Yup. Those are them. Minnepaolis also rebuilt the “projects” on highway 55 and lyndale about 5 years ago. The old ones had the same look.
