Don’t be so sure. God is eternal, and the Lord’s view of time is alien to ours. 100 years is a blink in the eye of eternity, and remember the end of days had caveats too. It could not come about until the re-establishment of Israel, so when that did finally occur back in the 1900s, many predicted the immediate end to no such luck.
However I have said that I just cannot see Israel surviving beyond 2040 at the current rate of events in the Middle East and elsewhere, so if there were to be a divine intervention, it would indeed be soon! I find the timing of these events too coincidental to ignore, in that this is likely the year Israel will attempt to demolish Iran’s nuclear weapons, and you also have the weakest man in history in charge of the USA, Barack Hussein Obama.

I am with you in tentatively and cautiously anticipating 2014-2015 to be an era of massive global change, perhaps of a Biblical nature.

I think what Jesus said was that the generation that saw these sign would be the generation that would see Him return. If you look at the ME and how it is lining up with Biblical prophecy, the upcoming blood-red moon tetrads... I agree with you that the next couple of years will be "an era of massive global change, perhaps of a Biblical nature". Of course, that's good news for us!
